The Changpuak Muay Thai gym building at the end of the lane in Chiang Mai
Gym & Area

At the end of the lane.

Why we exist

Not a business.
A neighbourhood.

Our coaches live on this lane – and so do many of our students and fighters. We train together, eat together and see each other every day. We didn't build this gym to make money. We built it to bring people together.

That's why we keep it small on purpose. Quality over quantity: a coach who knows your name, sessions where you actually get corrected, and a street where you're not a customer – you're a neighbour.

The Gym

Backyard style. Done properly.

Turn off busy Changklan Road, walk past the big condo, and keep going until the street ends. That's us: a garage-style gym, open on the sides and covered overhead, tucked between the two houses that belong to it. Across the street live Thai families who are part of the gym life one way or another – real neighbourhood, real Thai feeling.

  • 120 m² open-air training floor, fully covered
  • Full-size ring
  • 10 heavy bags
  • Gloves, pads and gear to borrow
  • Showers on site
  • Rooms on site, right next to the mats
  • Indoor kitchen and rooftop outdoor kitchen
  • Bicycle rental

Stay with us

Wake up. Walk to the ring.

Right next to the gym is our house: private and shared rooms, a kitchen we actually cook in, and a rooftop terrace with an outdoor kitchen for slow evenings after hard sessions.

The Area

Quiet lane. Busy road.

Our side street is calm and residential. Two minutes away, Changklan Road is full of life – a mix of locals and travellers, street food, cafés and markets.

Hungry?

Ask for Uncle.

Five hundred metres down the road, Uncle serves the kind of Thai food you'll crave long after you leave – at prices that make it easy to come back every day. After morning training, most of the team walks down for lunch together. Nobody knows the restaurant's real name. It's just Uncle's.

Getting around

Walk, ride, or hop on the back.

Most students walk or ride a scooter – and there's always someone heading to the gym who'll give you a lift. Grab is everywhere, and you can rent a bicycle from us.

More than training.

Lunch at Uncle’s

After morning training, most of the team walks down the road to eat together.

Rooftop evenings

BBQ, shabu, cooking together on the outdoor kitchen – or just hanging out.

Fight nights

When one of us fights, the whole gym is in the stadium – or at a temple festival fight.

Days off

Waterfalls, mountains and the rest of Chiang Mai – usually as a group.
